Steve Sabins, President and Executive Director- is originally from Southern California, and has been in the Utah assisted living industry since 1998 when Bel Aire built its first facility. He has a bachelors degree in financial planning & counseling, and an MBA in finance. Steve has served as president of the Utah Assisted Living Association (UALA), as a member of the UALA Board of Directors for many years, and is currently serving a four year term on the governor appointed State of Utah Health Facility Committee. Steve is also a member and past-president of the Provo Rotary Club affiliated with Rotary International. He has a wife and seven children.


Laura Towner, Administrator - Laura is from Montana and enjoys the beautiful Mount Timpanogos scenery as often as she can. She has ten years administrative experience, four of which are in the assisted living industry. She is a people person, but when given the opportunity, Laura "heads to the hills" to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. If she can't do that, she goes to concerts and plays. If all else fails, she unwinds by watching Lord of the Rings and eating popcorn.


Jennifer Parke, Care Director - Jennifer was born and raised right here in American Fork, Utah. She has held several positions within the Assisted Living industry for the past 16 years, beginning as a young teenager where she volunteered in a skilled facility every afternoon. Jennifer has worked as the Care Director for Bel Aire Senior Living for the past 7 years. She has served a term on the Utah Assisted Living Association Board of Directors.


Marcela Valdivia, Activities Director - She was born in Mexico City but raised in sunny California. She and her husband has been married for nine years, she is proud parents of two boys. When she first moved to Utah, She volunteered to serve food to seniors at an assisted living home and from then on had a special interest in working with seniors. She have been an Activities Director for over 3 years. She like to be around happy people, interacting with seniors, the constant change of routine in each day, and the history and knowledge that the elderly share on a regular basis has always interested her. She like to provide the most memorable parties, the best entertainment, exciting outings and meaningful programs to the residents. She enjoy the smiles, the morning hugs, and the company of caring, compassionate and loving residents.


Kathleen Zonts, Food Service Manager - Kathleen is the mother of 8 children. She has more than 35 years experience in food research and preparation. Kathleen had worked as an administrator in the assisted living industry for seven years prior to her coming to Bel Aire Senior Living. She prides herself in analyzing diet-related effects in seniors, and how proper nutrition plays a key role in body and mental function, as well as its effect on senior behaviors.
